Above all, we sing for an audience. But it takes a lot of resources to make every concert possible – from rehearsal space, to buying the music rights, to renting a venue, our post-concert receptions…and tickets, surprisingly, are only a portion of what helps us through the season. Which is why we are so grateful to community partners such as Plumberologist for their sponsorship of Parodies And PDQ Bach. (In fact, that most excellent wide-angle lens shot of our last concert was courtesy of Plumberologist Manager, Will Knox, who attended Lullabies.)
So, about PDQ Bach. He is the only ignored son of the Bach family, much wronged by the music world! And we are here to set it right!
Tickets for PDQ Bach are already available online. Please join us – 7:30 pm, Saturday, May 17, 2014, at UUCF.
Bet you never thought classical music could be this funny – come for an evening of sparkling allegro chickenellos and hilariously mirthless fugues. You’ll laugh WITH the music.
