What a difference a month makes! Four weeks ago, we were just done singing our first concert of the season. This week, we are already counting down – not to the holidays – but to our now annual holiday tradition.
Please join us for SOUNDS OF THE SEASON 2019, Saturday, December 14, 7:30 pm at Providence Presbyterian Church, 9019 Little River Turnpike, Fairfax, VA 22031.
Join us for a repertoire filled with light and the sounds of the season. From the peaceful hush of Eric Whitacre’s “Glow” and the warmth of “Eight Days of Light” to the familiar bells and sleigh rides of “Jingle Bells” this is an evening for all ages.
We’re especially excited to have the Monumental Brass Quintet join us for our large work, Kevin Memley’s “Gloria In Excelsis Deo.” Because few things round out a holiday concert more than beautiful brass. And as always, in keeping with our mission to be a teaching choir, we will share the stage with the talented singers from the Robinson Secondary School chorus program. More music, more joy. What better way to usher in the holidays?
Tickets are on sale online until 11:55 pm, Friday, December 13, 2019. They will be available on show night at the door – box office opens at 6:45 pm, doors open at 7:15 pm.
